Tri Destined Studios was founded in 1998 to provide world-class film, television and multi-media productions that empower, entertain, and inspire urban and modern America. Tri Destined Studios, a subsidiary of Tri Destined Media Enterprises, Inc., is comprised of: Tri Destined Films, Tri Destined Television, and Tri Destined Independent. Our corporate mission is to be the number one trusted brand in urban entertainment, production, and distribution. Our other initiative is to partner with Small Businesses, Minority Owned Businesses and Corporations to provide product placement, cross promotion and brand imaging within our productions that value diversity, economic and community empowerment.
Tri Destined's recent projects include the Romantic Comedy 'Always A Bridesmaid' written by Yvette Nicole Brown (currently on Netflix), Carl Weber's legal thriller 'Influence' (currently on BET PLUS) and the Christmas themed film 'Throwback Holiday' (premiered on BET and is available on most digital download platforms).
The second season of Carl Weber's 'The Family Business', which is Tri Destined's TV Series with Urban Books Media premieres on BET PLUS July 2nd 2020.
Other noteworthy films from Tri Destined Studios include the EDM Thriller 48 Hours To Live, the indie thriller The Man in 3B (based on Carl Weber’s New York Times Bestselling Novel), The Preacher’s Son, The Choir Director, Couples Night & No More Mr. Nice Guy.
Tri Destined also recently produced two international tv movies for TF1 entitled ‘Woman On The Edge’ starring Rumer Willis and ‘A Mothers Sacrifice’ starring Kristy Swanson, , Black Coffee, Note To Self, UP TV’s Where’s The Love, rom-com’s He’s Mine Not Yours, the art house film Why Am I Doing This? and She’s Still Not Our Sister, which broke network ratings and became GMC’s premiere Television Mini Series.
Tri Destined Studios unparalleled executive team has created content and co-produtions with BET, Urban Books Media, Warner Brothers/Asylum Records, Universal Studios, Sony Studios, Screen Gems, Paramount Studios, Odyssey Media, Image Entertainment, Urban Books Entertainment, 1555 Filmworls, MTV, The Black Academy of Arts and Letters, NAACP Image Awards, Burger King, Wells Fargo, Nissan, Black Educational Events and Historically Black Colleges and Universities and notables such as Carl Weber, Coach Carter, and David E. Talbert.
In addition to providing high quality urban and mainstream content, Tri Destined Studios is committed to providing employment and empowerment opportunities to minorities and women who are often underrepresented in our entertainment industry. Tri Destined has also produced several community outreach and social awareness projects including The Call, which received critical acclaimed for tackling and exposing the torments of AIDS; the Inner City Destiny Awards which shines light on the accomplishments of our inner city communities; and the largest African American event on the west coast The Angel City Classic, an HBCU Football Sporting Event, held annually at the Los Angeles Coliseum to over 80,000 fans and 8 million TV Viewers in conjunction with Fox Sports West.
